It’s all in the wedding details… I am often asked why also photograph the wedding details. You know, the flowers, the table settings, the favours… Off course I am going to photograph the bouquet, but you’ll also find me photographing those small, hand-made details that make your wedding so unique.
My job as you wedding photographer is to photograph the entire day, from the start to the finish. I photograph the happy moments… the ‘slightly’ stressful moments. I photograph the lovely moments, the tearful moments as well as the terrible dancing moments. So of course I am going to photograph the beautiful, effort filled and ever-so creative details.
So here is a collection of some of my most favourite shots taken last year featuring the creative touches that mean so much.
Little touches, all by Easy and Elegant Weddings at a Quy Mill Hotel Wedding
Gorgeous, Monopoly inspired wedding stationery by Little Button Nose
Flowers by Sally’s Floral Studio
When you spend so much time, so much effort (and expense) in making your wedding unique, then I’m going to spend time to ensure that those images will not only remind you of the most amazing day ever, but remind you of the effort that went into making sure your wedding was memorable.
And, I am also in total awe at the creativity that my couples (and their suppliers) put into making sure that the wedding is special, memorable and beautifully presented.
So, I thought I’d take the opportunity to give a mini-shout out to some of those suppliers that help transform every wedding into their clients perfect day.
Little Button Nose – for wedding stationery. Julie has been making the most stunning, unique invites and table settings for over ten years (she started out at such a young age).
Easy and Elegant Weddings – fFor venue decor. I have known Lucie for a long time… and she is the kind of person you want on your wedding planning team. I’ve seen her transform the most drab venue into a bride’s dream wedding.
Sally’s Floral Studio – For the most stunning flower arrangements, bouquets, button howls and table centre pieces . You should see Sally’s smile, when she presents the flowers to a bride! Quite simply, you want people like Sally at your wedding.
