What an amazing pleasure it was to be apart of Sarah and the ‘ever so cool’ Lee’s wedding at one of my most favorite venues, South Farm, Cambridgeshire.

I’d photographed Sarah and Lee during their engagement shoot, so I already new that they were a really lovely couple.  Here’s their engagement shoot.

The day started with Lee at his parents home, for some very informal and fun groom prep.  I knew instantly that this was going to be a chilled out awesome wedding.

Lee and is best men filled the house with laughter, and this was echoed when I reached South Farm for the bridal prep.  All I could here from the bridal suit was giggling (and corks popping).

I always try and photograph the groom prep as its part of the day that the bride doesn’t always gets to see.

Sarah already looked stunning, and that was before hear and make up had started.  She was calm, relaxed and set on absolutely enjoying her day.

Sarah had the most gorgeous pair of Manolo Blahniks on standby.  I say ‘standby’ because at the last minute, she decided to go barefoot as the service was to be held outside.

It’s always up to the client if you’d like me to cover the actual ceremony.  Mind you I urge you to say yes, but I’d completely understand if you’d rather this part of your wedding not be included within your coverage.  Sarah and Lee we’re happy for me to shoot this part of their day.

South Farm has the most loveliest pergola for the ceremony, which is beautiful framed by the lake.

And as for their gorgeous barn, it is one of the nicest and most interesting places photograph a wedding in the area.

And in typical Sarah and Lee fashion, Sarah’speech was interrupted for a selfie.

And then onto some relaxed formal shots.  Again, South Farm was the perfect back drop for some gorgeous, relaxed artful bride and groom portraits.  I appreciate that brides and grooms would rather party on with the guest, but taking 15 minutes out to spend some time with each other (and an annoying photographer) is and excellent idea.

So many grooms tell me that they play the guitar and that they ‘may’ join the band. Always a great photo opportunity but it hardly ever pans out as expected.  However, Lee well and truly rocked!  But then he is pat of one of the coolest, proper bands around.

There is nothing like a real band to help the celebrations along!  Unlike other wedding photographers, I stay well into the evening to capture all that drunken amazing dancing.

I always do a highlights gallery featuring about 40 or so wedding images processed in black and white, and I did this for Sarah and Lee.  But because of their boho chic wedding, I also decided to do a further gallery with a vintage feel, click here for their boho gallery.

So a huge thanks goes out to the wonderful team at South Farm, and of course to Sarah, Lee and all their lovely family and friends for ensuring that their wedding was epic.

Here are some of my favourite shots from this South Farm Wedding!
