The Orangery, Holland Park Wedding
I am so excited as I got to attend the most gorgeous wedding in Holland Park, and the Orangery a few Saturdays ago and I am busy editing the images. It’s not often I get to truly attend a Princess’ Fairy Tale wedding and it honestly could not have been more perfect!
Although I am based in Cambridge, I am also a London wedding photographer and tend to head to London, and it’s amazing wedding venues quite a few times a year.
And so to this London Wedding.
Tatiana and her beautiful bridesmaids had their prep done by a totally tallented team of MUA’s and hair stylists, as well as a little help from Tatiana’s Pug.
It was a relaxed affair, with Prosecco flowing and a very proud mum looking on.
Tatanya really did look stunning, almost regal. I’ve photographed many models’ weddings before, and although Tatanya had modelled before, she had a sense of confidence in front of the camera that even the most established models ever have. She mostly ignored me, and I mostly didn’t have to direct… Her wedding photography had a reportage feel to it.
Then on to a gorgeous church in the heart of Chelsea for the ceremony before the entire wedding party moved to The Orangery in Holland Park.
The Orangery is a beautiful, light, opulent building. Decorated with huge chandeliers, statues and the occasional peacock roaming around. A steel band played in one of the corners, and Tatanya and Doug’s incredibly impressive wedding cake took pride of place.
After the speeches in The Orangery, the breakfast was held in a spider tent in Holland Park.
Shortly after the wedding breakfast and the elegant first dance, the wedding celebrations ended; Tatanya and Doug were shooting off to their honeymoon and it was one of those London weddings that I wished didn’t have to end.
I rarely get to attend a wedding where I leave and it’s still light.
This wedding felt perfect in every way. Tatanya’s attention to detail, her and the bridesmaids’ gowns, the hair and the make-up – all absolutely perfect and spot on. And Doug looked so smart, honestly they are so well suited in every way.
The guests had a brilliant time, and I have to say so did I and my amazing assistant Jane.
So, a MASSIVE thank you to Tatiana and Doug for allowing me to share their amazing London wedding.
To the team at The Orangery, for their professionalism, their dedication and their style in ensuring this wedding was perfect in every single way.
To the steel band, who were awesome!
And of course to Jane, who got there earlier than I did! Thank you always of your amazing support!
