A Cambridge Engagement : Marina and Daniel

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Marina and Daniel’s Cambridge engagement recently, and I could not have wished for a more lovely couple to photograph.

To say that this couple were stylish, would be an understatement.  And what photographers who shoot engagement and pre-wedding shoots like the absolute most, is when the couple make the effort to look great and bring lots of enthusiasm and lots of ideas.

Their engagement shoot was photographed in Cambridge Town Centre, it wasn’t the sunniest day ever, but Marina’s smile and Daniels flair lit the place up!

We had originally attempted to coincide this shoot with trips and holidays (to Galicia and Miami), but sadly our schedules did’ work.  By the way; I don’t need to much of an excuse to visit Miami (or Galicia for that matter), click here just in case you’ll be in Florida in October.

Cambridge, however, is gorgeous… and a haven for tourists, but there are so many wonderful, almost secret locations in the centre that feel modern yet hint to the history that Cambridge has.   And because their shoot had a vintage preppie feel to it, Cambridge became the most perfect of backgrounds for their engagement shoot.

An engagement shoot really is the perfect time to spend a little time together before you wedding (with an annoying photographer stopping at every few steps to photograph you).

Marina and Daniel have opted to have a signing frame at their venue as well as a gorgeous, bespoke guest book, which will feature their images.

And the exciting thing is that I get to photograph Marina and Daniel’s wedding in July!  And I can’t wait to photograph their big day and I can’t wait to spend some time with this lovely couple.
